Almost any functionality that a client wants can be coded and integrated into the website and CMS.
Common applications
- Special functionality for which there is not an off-the-shelf solution
- Extend common web components with your special business rules
- Integrate your web site with other systems
We know software and we engineer custom solutions
We use a professional CMS and extend it through "best practices" from software engineering. If you have a special need for which there is no out-of-the-box solution, we probably can engineer a custom coded solution and integrate it into your website. And when we can find an off-the-shelf solution that comes close, we often can extend it, thus reducing the amount of customization that is needed.
Do you have a large project that is hard to define with expected change requests during development? Ask us about the "agile" approach that helps you manage costs and make decisions during development.
Example
A partner web firm came to us to build a “leads” system for their client, the Door County Navigator. This website, dedicated to the resort county in Wisconsin, wanted to automate their collection and distribution of leads to would-be vacationers. Site visitors would fill out the online request to be matched to candidate resorts according to their criteria. Upon submission of the form, the system would find the best matches and notify each resort. Resort representatives are notified by email and can opt to follow through with a lead. The system enables and tracks all leads, notifications, and follow-ups, and it provides ample reporting to both lodge and administrator. This enables the business model of charging a subscription fee for each participating lodge.
